LOOK: Sage Northcutt Provides Update on 8 Facial Fractures

Former UFC prospect Sage Northcutt made his ONE Championship debut on Friday, May 17 at ONE Championship 96: Enter the Dragon. Things did not go as planned, as the 23-year-old Texan suffered a knockout loss to kickboxing standout Cosmo Alexandre in just 29 seconds. Northcutt was clipped with a heavy overhand right that immediately sent him crumbling to the mat.
In the loss, Northcutt suffered eight facial fractures which forced him to undergo surgery.
Now, one week later, Northcutt has provided an update on his recovery and he surprisingly looks better than you would imagine.

We wish Northcutt the best in his recovery and hope he can return to action sooner rather than later as he attempts to battle back into the win column.
Prior to his loss to Alexandre, Northcutt was riding a three-fight winning streak in the UFC which included decision victories over Michel Quinones and Thibault Gouti, along with a knockout over Zak Ottow.
