The UFC women’s strawweight title is on the line Saturday, May 11 at UFC 237 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event takes place at Jeunesse Arena and will air live on ESPN pay-per-view. In the main event, current champion Rose Namajunas defends her title against top contender Jessica Andrade.
The event is also littered with mixed martial arts legends like Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, BJ Penn, and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
UFC 237 officially kicks off with the ESPN+ preliminary card at 6:15 p.m. ET, while the action shifts to ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET. The ESPN portion of the preliminary card will be headlined by a light heavyweight scrap between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ryan Spann. The main card will air on pay-per-view with Diego Ferreira vs. Francisco Trinaldo kicking off the action.
Ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view, all fighters participating in the event had to step onto the scale for the official weigh-ins.
