Sol Pais has been identified as the 18-year-old woman — who is “infatuated” with the Columbine High School shooting — that caused over 20 schools in Jefferson County, Colorado to be locked down after making a “credible threat.”
At this time, not much is known about Pais’ personal life. What is known about Pais is her personal appearance and what she was last seen wearing.
Police say that Pais, an 18-year-old female that stands at about 5’5″ tall, was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants, and black boots. Additionally, she is described as having brown hair.
Authorities say that Pais traveled to the Jefferson County area on Monday, April 15, specifically to threaten an act of violence in the area. Police say after she flew into Colorado from Florida, she purchased a shotgun.
Due to Pais’ “credible” threat, a total of 21 Colorado-area schools were placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure:
Ken Caryl Middle
Rocky Mtn. Academy of Evergreen
West Jeff Elementary
West Jeff Middle
Pais’ threats in the Jefferson County area comes just four days prior to the 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School mass shooting that resulted in the deaths of 13 innocent people.
At the time of this writing, Pais — who police say civilians should not approach as she is considered armed and extremely dangerous — is still on the run from police.
The Denver Division of the FBI and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone who sees Pais to immediately call the FBI tip line at 303-630-6227.
