Sol Pais Identified As Threat Maker Responsible For Columbine Lockdown

The Denver Division of the FBI and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for Sol Pais in connection with today’s lockdowns in Jefferson County, Colorado.

Who Is Sol Pais?

Pais, who police should be considered armed and extremely dangerous, is a white 18-year-old woman who stands at 5’5″ and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage pants, and black boots.

Pais is responsible for the “credible threat” that caused over 20 schools on lockdown in Jefferson County, Colorado — including Columbine High School — to be locked down.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said that Pais is reportedly “infatuated” with the Columbine High School shooting.

What Did Sol Pais Do?

Police say that Pais traveled to Colorado on Monday, April 15 and threatened to commit “an act of violence” in the Denver area.

Police say after she flew into Colorado from Florida on Monday, April 15, she purchased a shotgun.

At this time, it is unclear what the nature of Pais’ threats was or why she made them, but authorities did say she was “infatuated” with the Columbine shooting.

Authorities have asked anyone who sees Pais or has information about her whereabouts to immediately call the FBI tip line at 303-630-6227.

Pais’ threat of violence against Jefferson County schools comes just four days before the 20th anniversary of the infamous Columbine shooting that left 13 people dead.
