LOOK: Michelle Waterson Is In INSANE Shape Ahead Of UFC Philadelphia

Michelle Waterson knows what it takes to be a champion. “The Karate Hottie” had a successful stint in Invicta Fighting Championships as the promotion’s atomweight champion, before making the move to the UFC. She has yet to have her shot at UFC gold, but Waterson believes she is knocking on the door of a title shot.
Waterson is set to take on former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC on ESPN 2 which takes place on Saturday, March 30 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
With a win over Kowalkiewicz, Waterson should be in line for a rematch with current champion Rose Namajunas. When the two women previously fought, Namajunas scored a second-round submission win.
But for now, she is focused on going into the cage and putting on a show.
“I’m going in there to get the ‘W,’” Waterson said, via MMAjunkie.com. “My intention is to go in there and fly. Let it fly and enjoy myself and if that happens, it’s going to be spectacular.”
And if her physique is any indication, Waterson is ready to deliver.

UFC on ESPN 2 is headlined by a lightweight bout between Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje. In the co-main event, David Branch and Jack Hermansson face off in a middleweight bout. Waterson vs. Kowalkiewicz will be part of the main card on ESPN. The main card is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.
In the meantime, you can check out more photos of Waterson below.
