R. Kelly made his first public allegations since being charged with multiple charges of sexual assault in an interview on CBS This Morning with Gayle King. During the interview, R. Kelly broke down when asked about his alleged assault of the many women who have spoken out against him.
Kelly was adamant that these were false allegations and exploded when questioned about them.
“Use your common sense. Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me,” Kelly said. “Hate me if you want to, love me if you want. But just use your common sense. How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I’ve been through — oh right now I just think I need to be a monster, and hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don’t let them eat, and don’t let them out.”
He then looked directly at the camera and added: “Stop it. You don’t quit playing! Quit playing! I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me! I’m fighting for my f*cking life.”

The full interview will be airing at 10:00 a.m. ET on CBS This Morning where we will see more of R. Kelly breaking his silence. Along with the interview with the R&B singer, CBS This Morning will be reportedly interviewing two of the women who are accusing him of abuse over the past couple of decades.
