The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced its schedule for the first half of the year. UFC 236 is the first pay-per-view event of the third quarter of the year. The event was announced in January, and we finally have a main event.
With UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker currently sidelined, the UFC has announced that top 185-pound contenders Kelvin Gastelum and Israel Adesanya will battle it out for the interim title.
Additional bouts will be announced in the coming weeks, along with an official venue and location.
