WATCH: UFC Veteran Denis Stojnic Stops Nightclub Assault On Woman

UFC veteran Denis Stojnic got to put his skills on display in his everyday life. According to a report from RT, Stojnic was involved in an altercation outside of a club he owns. Stojnic spotted a woman being physically assaulted by a man outside of his nightclub when he intervened.

The man grabbed a woman by the hair and was assaulting her behind a car when he was spotted.

Stojnic told RT that he noticed the assault happening on his video monitor when he decided to leave the venue and help the woman.

“When I saw on my video controller, Dorian Gray, that a huge man even proportions physically higher than me, striking a female person with a fisted fist in my head, I immediately ran out and reacted so that they were protected from the perpetrator,” he told the news outlet, according to his translator. “I conquered it and finally we accompanied the girl along with her security to a taxi, and she did not want to report this case to the police.

“Unfortunately, in our country violence against women is becoming more and more and my duty as a man, a citizen, and then only owners of objects is that everyone in my facilities feels safe, especially women, because they are some kind of children, sisters, mothers and weaker ones and the more gentle gender.”

Stojnic, who hails from Bosnia and Herzegovina, competed for the UFC in 2009. He suffered a TKO loss to former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez at UFC Fight Night 17 and a submission loss to Stefan Struve at UFC 99. Since leaving the UFC, Stojnik put together an unbeaten streak of nine fights. His last fight came in May 2016 when he scored a TKO win over Christian M’Pumbu at Hit Fighting Championship 2.
