With “UFC 232: Jones vs. Gustafsson 2″ just around the corner, the California State Athletic Commission has announced fighter salaries for the pay-per-view event at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday, December 29.
After the top four fighters on the card — Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson, Cris Cyborg, and Amanda Nunes — successfully made weight for their title fights, CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster began sharing the news.
Jones, Gustafsson, and Cyborg will all earn a flat $500,000 for their bouts.
UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes will earn $350,000 for her effort to become the first two-division women’s champion in promotional history. MMAFighting.com was first to report the news.
The figures released do not include any money from outside sponsors, Reebok outfitting numbers or outside sponsorships for the athletes. UFC 227 purses also exclude any locker room bonuses which include the $50,000 for Fight of the Night and Performance of the night bonuses.
