As they do every year, Google has released various “Most Searched” lists, such as most searched athletes, celebrities, TV, movies, etc.
And while most of the lists are relatively standard (four of the top five most searched movies were comic book movies), the list of the Top 10 most searched people could not be any more bizarre.
10. Cardi B

There are few people on Earth who had a more eventful, and more successful, 2018. After bursting onto the scene in 2017 with her massive single “Bodak Yellow”, Cardi B continued that hot streak by getting married to Migos’ Offset, released her wildly successful debut studio album Invasion of Privacy, got pregnant, had a baby, and then got divorced. A busy year indeed.
9. Stormy Daniels

Somehow, Stormy Daniels cracked the Top 10, but the man she alleges she slept with doesn’t. Which is weird, considering that man just so happens to be the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
8. Hailey Baldwin

Hailey Baldwin cracks the Top 10 because she’s not a Baldwin as all … she’s now a Bieber, as she and international pop star Justin Bieber got secretly married over the summer. It also helps that she one of the most stunning women in the world, as she was named #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 in 2017.
7. Brett Kavanaugh

Despite only being in the news cycle for a couple of months, Brett Kavanaugh and his overly expressive face barged his way into the Top 10 most searched people of the year, similar to how he barged his way into the Supreme Court, where he’ll remain until the day he dies.
6. Jair Bolsonaro

To be honest, I didn’t even know who this person was before I came across this list. Turns out he’s the President-elect of Brazil, to which I say … good luck, buddy, because that sounds like a hell of a job.
5. Khloe Kardashian

How MAD do you think Kim Kardashian is that her extremely less attractive sister cracked the top 10 but she didn’t? Kim is having kids left and right, dropping nudes bi-weekly, is married to a delusional rapper, and yet she’s not as highly searched as the family’s resident power forward, Khloe. Only in America.

Man, this kid … luckily we haven’t heard much of this dude since that horrific suicide forest incident (yes, that happened in 2018 … it’s been a long year).
3. Sylvester Stallone

Stallone? Did he almost die? Was Creed 2 *that* good? People pushing for an Oscar nomination? How is this explained? Look, Stallone is an OG, there’s no doubt about it, but for him to be in the Top 3 MOST SEARCHED PEOPLE OF THE YEAR means he either A) acted his balls off in Creed 2 or B) briefly flirted with the grim reaper.
Hopefully, it was the former because I honestly can’t remember.
2. Demi Lovato

Unfortunately, Lovato ranks so highly on the list for unfortunate reasons, as she suffered an overdose in early August. However, fortunately, Lovato came out of her overdose relatively unscathed and is currently on the road to recovery.
