The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the Big Apple for UFC 230 on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. It marks the third time in the promotion’s history that the UFC will host an even at Madison Square Garden, and the first since a championship triple-header on Nov. 4, 2017 at UFC 217 which was headlined by a middleweight title fight between then-champion Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre.
The event is headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier vs. Derrick Lewis. The main event came together late, less than one month ahead of the pay-per-view event. Valentina Shevchenko vs. Sijara Eubanks for the vacant women’s flyweight title was initially set to headline the event, but that was pulled from the card after Cormier vs. Lewis was added.

Another light change was a shakeup in the co-main event. Dustin Poirier vs. Nate Diaz was set to fill that slot, but it was pulled from the card the same day the main event was announced when Poirier was forced to withdraw due to injury.
Below is all of the information you will need to catch the event from the opening bout.
