The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced its fight schedule for the remainder of 2018, including UFC 229. UFC 229 will mark the promotion’s return to pay-per-view on Saturday, Oct. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will mark the UFC’s third event hosted in the Fight Capital of the World, following UFC 222: Cyborg vs. Kunitskaya on March 3 and UFC 226: Miocic vs. Cormier on July 7.
In the main event of UFC 229, a highly-anticipated bout between current UFC lightweight champion and former titleholder Conor McGregor, who is returning from a lengthy lay-off, will be taking place after months of build up and speculation.
