SmackDown Live comes at you this Tuesday night and looks to make things exciting for Extreme Rules. The blue brand is looking to make things more interesting going into next months PPV. Shinsuke Nakamura turns his eyes on another piece of hardware as other superstars hope to gain traction before Extreme Rules. Here is what to watch on this week’s SmackDown Live and where to watch it!
Shinsuke Nakamura has failed to get the WWE Championship on four straight PPV’s. What’s the old saying? If at first you don’t succeed, try try the mid-card instead? Nakamura turns his attention to the Charismatic Enigma and tries to get his first taste of WWE gold since his last NXT Championship run in the form of the US Title. Will Nakamura be able to take on fan favorite Jeff Hardy and come out on top? Or is this another pipe dream for the former NJPW powerhouse.
The Bludgeon Brothers will be making an uncharacteristic appearance on Miz TV tonight. The duo has been dominating the SmackDown Live Tag Team Division and it’ll be interesting to see what they have to say when it’s not a camera they are looking down on that they destroy with their hammers. Will the A-Lister find a way to get the Bludgeon Brothers talking or will the duo treat The Miz with the same respect they give camera’s in their promos?
Happy Rusev Day! The Bulgarian Brute has found his way to a title match with AJ Styles at Extreme Rules, and it’s well deserved! Rusev Day has been one of the most over gimmicks over the past weeks, but he will face a big obstacle this week in Xavier Woods. Woods is one-third of one of the most popular stables of all time, The New Day and will be taking on Rusev this week. Will we continue to celebrate or will the mouthpiece of The New Day put an end to our wonderful Rusev Day! This and more on SMackDown Live this week!
