Monday Night Raw sets its sights for Extreme Rules next month and starts to lay the foundation for what we’ll see at the PPV. But just one night after defeating Elias to retain his title at Money In The Bank, Rollins lost the title to Dolph Ziggler on Raw. Tonight Rollins will get a chance to get his title back but Ziggler is no rookie to the Intercontinental Title scene. With his win last week over Seth Rollins he is now a six-time holder of the title. And with Drew McIntyre in his corner, can he really lose?
Last week Raw GM Kurt Angle said there would be a multi-person match at Extreme Rules to find out who will be the next person to face Lesnar for the Universal Title. So far Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns have been announced as competitors in this mysterious match, but who else will be joining the two men? And how many more people will there be?
The women’s division is in complete turmoil right now with two sets of former friends causing mayhem. Last week Alexa Bliss made Ronda Rousey so angry so completely lost her cool, earning the former Olympic and MMA champ a 30-day suspension. Even though Rousey isn’t there, Bliss still needs to keep an eye out for former best friend Nia Jax who has a rematch with the goddess at Extreme Rules. We also saw the best friendship of Bayley and Sasha Banks boil over last week. After losing to the Riott Squad in tag team action the two brawled backstage. Will the Boss and the Hugger be able to coexist?
