There was an active shooter situation at a Noblesville, Indiana school. A dispatcher with Hamilton County said there was an active shooter situation at Noblesville West Middle School this morning. According to the Carmel Fire Department, the shooter has been detained and is in police custody.
Two people are reportedly in critical condition. One of the victims is reportedly a teenage girl and the other victim is an adult. The school is reportedly on lockdown with police and SWAT on the scene sweeping the building. The students are being evacuated to Noblesville High School, where they can be picked up.
The active shooting at Noblesville West Middle School is just the latest in a string of lockdowns, bomb threats, and shootings that have plagued the United States.
