Multiple pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in Midtown Manhattan Friday afternoon. The incident happened on 31st Street and 7th Avenue at around 5:24 P.M. EST. A red van jumped the curb and struck two women and one man.
At least three people were hit. Two women and one man was struck by a red van. Their injuries are being described as non-life-threatening.
As a result of today’s incident, 7th avenue is being closed off, while dozens are firefighters are responding to the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was reportedly taken into custody, according to FOX 8 WGHP journalist Lori Denberg.

Presently, the incident is not considered to be an act of terrorism or terror-related. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
