Jessie Lorene Goline, a 25-year-old Arkansas high school art teacher, has been arrested for allegedly having sex with four of her students, including two on the same day.
Goline, 25, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, was taken into custody on Wednesday, September 20, after an investigation into the suspected inappropriate relationships she was having students. The affidavit stated the sexual acts occurred between the months of January and April 2016.
The investigation into Goline, who taught at Marked Tree High School, began when a parent accused Goline of having sexual encounters with several students. Marked Tree High staff was forced to intervene when the parent then threatened to “do bodily harm” to Goline.

Goline admitted to school officials that she had inappropriate sexual relationships with four students. She believed one was 18 at the time but later found him to be “way younger than what he had told her,” the affidavit states.
The reported acts happened between January and April of 2016, authorities said.
The students — three from the Marked Tree School District and another from the East Poinsett County School District — said that they had texted Goline and that their conversations became more sexual over time.
She was released from the Craighead County jail at 3:04 PM on Wednesday on a $5,000 bond.
Goline is facing only one count of sexual assault because only one of the students she allegedly slept with was under 18.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for October 31. If convicted, she could be sentenced to 10 to 40 years or life in prison.
