UFC Schedule August 2017: Upcoming UFC Fights & Events









All eyes in the UFC and fighting world will be on the August 26 fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather. McGregor is UFC’s biggest star, but his biggest event will take place outside of the Octagon. Still, we will give you some information about that event as well.  As McGregor laces up his boxing gloves and continues his trash talking tour, we turn our attention to the UFC fights going on during the month of August. While there is no big UFC event in August (UFC 215 is September 9), there is still plenty for fans to check out, including some other MMA and fighting events.

UFC Fight Night: Pettis vs. Moreno

This fight night features six fights and is highlighted by the matchup between Moreno and Pettis. August does not feature a UFC championship fight, so this fight night will have to do for any fans who cannot wait for UFC 215.

Even though this is not a UFC fight, this is what everybody has been waiting for. After an extended press tour with some serious insults being thrown back and forth, the stage is set. These two guys are set to make serious money for this fight and are looking to put on a show. Mayweather will try to defend his undefeated record while McGregor wants to show that he can compete in the ring. Mayweather is the favorite, but McGregor talks a big game and can take a punch. People cannot wait to see this fight go down.

Titan FC 45: Araujo vs. Capitulino

Titan FC is another MMA organization which features some big matchups in August. While the fights are not as high profile as UFC, they are still quality even if only the most die-hard fans watch.

Polaris is a Jiu-Jitsu competition that takes place in England. This is a unique style of fighting, and should be an intriguing watch for somebody who is looking for a break from the mixed-martial arts.
