The Undertaker Leaves His Hat & Coat In The Ring After Retiring From The WWE

||

Whether or not you’re a fan of wrestling, there is something to be said and respected about longevity.

While I haven’t watched an ounce of wrestling for the better part of the last decade, the first wrestling match I ever watched was way back in the year 1999. The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Mick Foley, and of course, The Undertaker were leading the company to heights it had never seen.

While most of those names walked away from the sport — whether it be to pursue other passions or to┬ájust plain retire — one stayed. The Undertaker stayed.

After losing to Romain Reigns last night at Wrestlemania 33, with a Wrestlemania record of 23-2, the Deadman walked away after 27 years in the sport, leaving his hat and jacket in the center of the ring.

Just to show how much respect the Undertaker has garnered over the last couple of decades, even after the crowd was gone and the ring was being taken down, Taker’s gear remained in the center.
