Khalid Masood has been named as the man who launched a terror attack at Parliament on Wednesday, March 22. The attack left four people dead.
Masood, 52, was born in Kent, England. Detectives believe he was most recently living in the West Midlands.
Masood was not the subject of any current investigations, however, he was known by police and had a range of previous convictions, including greivous bodily harm, possession of offensive weapons, and public order offenses.
Masood’s most recent conviction was in 2003 when he was charged with possession of a knife.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement through their Amaq news agency, but did not name Masood and gave no further details.
Masood ran over pedestrians on a London bridge and fatally stabbed police officer Keith Palmer on Parliament’s grounds.
