Madison Paul, a Ohio State University student, died Monday from injuries sustained after a fall from the top of the Ohio Union South Garage on the Ohio State campus.
Ohio State officials released a statement on Paul’s death:
“We are heartbroken to learn that the student who fell from the Ohio Union South Garage today has died. On behalf of the entire community, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Madison Paul. We have reached out to offer our support and condolences to Madison’s parents.”
Paul, whose was 19-years-old, died eight days after her birthday. The university is offering grief counseling for those affected. The number to call is 614-292-5766.
Paul’s death comes just a couple of weeks after the death of Ohio State student Reegan Tookes, who was found shot dead near the main entrance to Scioto Grove Metro Park on the OSU campus.
