La La Land led all movies with nominations, followed up by Manchester By the SeaMoonlight, and Hidden Figures. As great as the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild awards are, the Academy Awards are the awards show that everyone in the film industry dreams of winning, and it also closes out the award season.
