Steve Carrell and Kristen Wiig may literally be two of the top ten funniest people on Earth, so having them do basically anything together is instant comedy gold, especially when they’re doing their deadpan comedy. Nobody can somberly and ironically deliver a line like Carrell and Wiig. Nobody.
While presenting the award for Best Animated Motion Picture, also known as this year’s best uplifting children’s cartoon, Wiig and Carrell recalled their first times seeing an animated movie, only to delve into tales of sorrow and regret, all while keeping the same stone-faced look.
Can these two just host every year? Or do a movie together? Or bring back The Office? Something?
