Meryl Streep, widely considered the world’s greatest living actress, accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award at last night’s 74th Golden Globes. During her speech, Streep spoke about President-elect Donald Trump’s mockery of a disabled reporter, saying “it broke [her] heart” and that she “still can’t get it out of [her] head.”
Trump, who is set to be sworn into the nation’s highest office in just 10 days, continued acting like a petulant child, waking up bright & early this morning to respond to Streep on Twitter, calling her “over-rated” (which is one word, by the way).
It’s safe to say you can add acting (along with things such as foreign policy and common decency) to the growing list of things Donald Trump is clueless about: Meryl Streep has more Academy Award nominations than any actor or actress. Ever.

Only Donald Trump can find a way to beef with one of the most beloved and well-respected actresses in the history of American cinema.
