Police were a chasing a suspect possibly involved in this morning’s officer-involved shooting in Blue Springs, Missouri.
The suspect has since been apprehended. Police say he may have been trying to load an assault riffle before he was arrested.

olice said they were chasing the vehicle near Interstate 70 and Adams Dairy Parkway when it left the roadway in that area. The suspect showed a weapon, and police fired shots.
The suspect then ran across I-70 to get away. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket. He has brown hair.
