The United States Women’s National Basketball team will play against Japan in the quarterfinals of the Olympics tonight at 5:45 PM EST. You’ll be able to watch USA vs Japan on the NBC Sports Network or via a live stream on your mobile device or computer.
Led by the greatest female players in the world, Team USA has been winning their games handily against opponents and we don’t expect that to change tonight against Japan. The Japanese only won three out of their five Group B games, one of which was against Brazil–the weakest team in the tournament.
The USA is expected to win by 38 points, although truthfully that number could end up being much bigger if Japan doesn’t find a way to stop the USA from grabbing offensive boards and easy points in the paint.
