Skip Bayless has made quite a lucrative living saying the most ridiculous things that he can think of. He’s pretty damn good at it too. No one can sound as dumb as Skip Bayless can sound. Obviously, Fox Sports seems to agree, as the contract they gave him is reported to be paying Bayless in the neighborhood of $7-$8 million per year.

Look the guy is a total ass hat, but he knows what works, what he’s good at, and capitalizes. I mean, which one of you wouldn’t want to be paid millions of dollars to scream incoherent statements on national TV? You got to give him credit too, because he essentially built Cold Pizza/First & 10/ First Take by himself, from a lowly morning sports show into one of the most watched sports programs in the nation.
And to be completely/painfully honest/fair, the exchange between Stephen A Smith and Skip was actually quite touching.
It will be interesting to see where First Take goes from here. Hopefully where ever it goes, it involves Screamin’ Stephen A.
