The students of University of California, San Diego protested nudity laws yesterday with their Free The Nipple event. For two hours female students – and as stated below, their allies – could be found walking around their library topless.
UCSD alumna and event organizer Anni Ma started the event by removing her shirt and encouraging attendees to do the same. Students from surrounding schools were also in attendance and no one was arrested, so that’s always a plus. It may not be an undie run, but this was for a good cause, so we’re all about it.
