Watch: Barack Obama Takes Over 'The Colbert Report' [VIDEO]

Barack Obama took over The Colbert Report last night–which meant the show instantly destabilized and half the audience was taken hostage. But we kid. This was actually a very big deal for Stephen Colbert, of course, who’s wrapping up his satirical news show this week as he gets ready to move on to hosting The Late Late Show. Getting the President of the United States to stop by was obviously a great way to launch the farewell week.
We’re not sure how we feel about Barack Obama looking so happy to be behind the desk of a fake news show. You’ll see the POTUS turn Colbert’s usual “The Word” into “The Decree” while doing a pretty straight take on Colbert’s usually straight schtick. Watch for yourself and ponder what kind of world we live in…
