Merry Helicopter Mishap Almost Slices & Dices Deck Hand [VIDEO]

So it turns out that when you have a helicopter flying off the deck of your ship, you’re supposed to make sure that the deck straps have all been released before the pilot actually departs. We were thinking that was one of those times where you could apply the International Maritime Rule of “two out of three ain’t bad.” Turns out that’s actually the International Meat Loaf Rule.
Anyway, we’ve gotten new identities and there’s no way that you can tie any kind of disasters back to us. The important thing is that we’ve learned what we did wrong something new from this video. Check it out as a helicopter takes off from a Greenpeace ship and suddenly has to cover up for some guy’s perfectly innocent mistake. We’re hoping that it was the guy who almost got his head hacked off by a helicopter blade.
