We know that we should be complaining about how predictable this kind of epic imagery is in commercials nowadays–but it’s still plenty of fun to watch Rob Lowe show off some epic shark-taming skills while promoting the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. We should also note that the #KingOfSummer hashtag refers to Shark Week’s amazing run since 1987. Not that Rob Lowe wasn’t doing bad back in 1987. He was about to hit a rough patch in his career, but we’re pretty sure that he was having a great summer back then.
