"The LEGO Movie's" "History Cops" Trailer is Hilarious [VIDEO]

The LEGO Movie is coming out on Blu-ray soon, and it includes a bunch of special trailers featuring some of the movie’s most familiar characters–like this trailer for History Cops. 
The fake trailer features LEGO versions of the world’s greatest artist and the world’s greatest US presidents doing what they do best: busting punks, tossing their asses in jail and throwing away the key. It stars the voices of Phil Lord, one of the writers and directors of The LEGO Movie, and former Saturday Night Live star Will Forte whose about to get his own show on FOX called The Last Man On Earth. It’s chocked full of great moments like how Michelangelo’s real name is “Michael Angel’o” and Abraham Lincoln busting the bad guys with cracks like “Get ready for four score and seven years…in jail” before knocking a guy out with a copy of the Emancipation Proclamation.
They even treat the trailers Grindhouse-style so the movie looks like something straight out of the exploitation circuit…

We know this was just a short trailer but now we really want a History Cops movie. Not only would it be way better than any other cop movie that’s about to be screened in a theater but The LEGO Movie was really something special and it deserves to have spinoff movies like the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. If we’ll have to put up with an Ewoks movie that we just know Disney wants to make, then we’ll compromise and go to it if somebody else makes History Cops.
