E3 Day Three Recap: "Batman," "Dead Island 2" and "FarCry 4" [VIDEO]

E3 is winding down now that the big three companies announced all of their newest and biggest games–so now we’re down to the leftovers. The good news is that some of them are pretty tasty.
Batman: Arkham Knight was definitely on every gamer’s “To-See” list at this year’s E3 thanks to the groundbreaking gameplay and story delivery in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. The gameplay footage that Rocksteady brought to E3 did not disappoint. Everything about the new game expands the series into the kind of Batman game that fans have dreamed about playing since the days when its creator Bob Kane was cranking out daily comic strips. Not only can you explore every inch of Gotham City but you can finally traverse it behind the wheel of the Batmobile…

Sony also scored another hit with a title that the fans almost forgot was coming when they first announced it over a year ago. The Order: 1886 brings a steampunk take to the third person shooter and throws in a nice, dark, horror twist that really sets it apart from its already unique competition…

Sony hasn’t had as much success with the Gran Turismo series as they have in the past and it appears that they’ve backed another racing sim title called Project Cars

The Dead Island franchise built a small but loyal group of fans so Deep Silver treated them to Dead Island 2, which offers a much different and funnier take on zombie insurrection…

Ubisoft didn’t have a big breakout hit this year like they did with the mega-hyped Watch_Dogs but they still delivered some interesting and unique titles like the apocalyptic, military adventure game The Division…

Ubisoft also treated the fans to a crazy direction for the FarCry series with FarCry 4 that takes players through a Himalayan village ruled by an insane dictator…

Rockstar Games almost never makes an appearance at the E3 show but they did something interesting this year. They announced in the middle of the show that they were bringing Grand Theft Auto V to the Xbox One, PS4 and the PC by releasing their own trailer with some stunning footage of the game in action…
