In a video posted to Twitter, a dressed-up Colbert manages to grab the microphone and mock Donald Trump and his running-mate Mike Pence before security gets to him. The Late Show host can be seen — dressed as fictional TV host Caesar Flickman from The Hunger Games — standing at the podium at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, wearing a blue wig, slamming a gavel.
“I know I’m not supposed to be up here but neither is Donald Trump,” he yelled.
Colbert is just the best.
