Gavin Long, a man who wrote under the pen name of Cosmo Setepenra, has been identified as the man who killed three cops in Baton Rouge, LA before he was shot and killed by police.
Long was a retired Marine, honorably discharged in 2010, who had begun sharing conspiracy theories and thoughts online and in some of his self-published books. A short while ago, he posted on Twitter and proclaimed that he had just returned from a two-year trip to Africa. It was after that he began to claim that he belonged to the Washitaw Nation, a group of African Americans who claimed they were a Native American tribe that wasn’t part of the United States of America.
