University of Alabama, Junior

THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…

I have the privilege of interning at the local television station on campus. With that, I have been able to attend many sporting events and work and record for the station. To me that’s a dream just beginning to come true.

I MAJOR IN…

My major is telecommunications and film with a concentration in sports broadcasting, and my minor is communication studies. I hope to pursue a career as a sports reporter for a large market.

OH YEAH, AND YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT…

I am always up for fun. I think it is so important to have fun no matter what, and I always find time to do so, but I keep up great grades. I consider it a talent!

AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…

I am a member of the club cheer team, Society of Professional Journalists, and an intern at WVUA-TV. Previously I’ve written for the newspaper and worked at the radio station. I also volunteer at the Humane Society of West Alabama.

DESCRIBE YOUR LAST FRIDAY NIGHT.

I was at a club in Baltimore for an all-white event in the VIP section. It was a blast, and I went with some of my guy friends and twin sister. We popped bottles, danced, and just had a great wild night.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?

In my opinion, Miss COED 2016 is someone who is a wild partier but also has their life in order. I fit that exactly. I may be off having an amazing night, but I also make it to class every morning on time. I party with the best people from my university and I know everyone! I am not shy to say ‘Roll Tide’ all the way!!!

IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

To live life to the fullest. There’s too many people telling you what not to do and not enough people wanting to just be happy.
