Another UFC Fight Night (UFC on FOX 18, if you’re counting) seems to mean another ridiculously quick bout. In this case, it was Ryan Bader making an unfortunate opening move while going up against Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. That would lead to an exciting two-fight before “Rumble” rumbled his way into yet another KO win.
Actually, it might be less than two minutes. We hate to really count the time, since we know that some people paid a lot of money to see this thing live. Also, we guess a lot of folks paid to see Sage Northcutt win over Bryan Barberena. That didn’t happen. Sage — who we celebrated with his flippin’ UFC debut in October — ended up tapping out really quickly.
A lot of people are goofing on him for that, but we know a few MMA legends with some quick tap-outs in their past. Maybe the guy just didn’t want to injure himself while he was still starting out. We are not judgmental — mainly because we know that two seconds would be an impressive run for a COED editor in the UFC ring. We guess there’s more entertainment value in this fight than we thought…
