Remember that time Goldman Sachs said that your degree may not be worth the price tag? Well Elijah Oyefeso is living proof of the company’s theory.
The 21-year-old Londoner is a college dropout making $115,000 a month from working just one hour a day. Try to hold back your tears – it gets worse. Oyefeso is a self-taught stock broker who used the money for his student loans to invest. Not only does he have a f*cking $220,000 Lamborghini that he crashed into his $90,000 Bentley, he also has a $7,000 a month flat in the upscale west London neighborhood of Kensington.
How? Why? Where did we go wrong?
Oyefeso also claims that once his fortune started picking up, he limited his work to just an hour a day, which is literally music to our ears. Just nine months after dropping out of a business management program at University of Buckingham, Oyefeso was already up thousands in the stock market. Even his “bad” months are better than most people’s starting salary – Oyefeso manages to make up to $40,000 a month even when he’s off his game.
Luckily he’s set up a company called DCT Training Group, where he helps others learn how to become a stockbroker.
“If you work hard you don’t need to look at the price tag, you just get it,” Oyefeso explained during a recent cameo on Channel 4’s Rich Kids Go Shopping.
