Spencer Stone, one of the heroes who foiled the French terror attack on a train this summer, was reportedly stabbed in the chest this morning while in Sacramento. A defense official claims he was trying to defend a friend. Once again, Spencer threw himself in the face of danger to protect others.
You’ll recall that Spencer, along with his two friends, received the Airman’s Medal for disarming Ayoub El Khazzan. He was stabbed in the hand by a boxcutter but recovered. He is an Airman, 1st Class in the US Air Force.

Details about the scumbag responsible haven’t been released yet, but it’s safe to say we’re all thinking about how f’d up it is that he survived a direct attack from a man with a knife and an AK-47 in a foreign country, only to be stabbed multiple times in the torso now that he’s back at home.
Reports indicate that he was in critical condition this morning until he went into surgery. He is now listed as stable, which is a miracle because police were initially investigating the crime as a homicide since they didn’t think he’d make it. Spencer is clearly one bad, bad man.
