Mississippi State University, once famous for its pools and outstanding football team, is now on our radar because they’re the first collegiate athletic department with an official, custom emoji keyboard. The keyboard, available for both iOS and Android devices by searching “Hail State Emoji Keyboard,” is free.
Emojis are all the rage right now, we get it, so #HailState for being the first to adopt the technology. The catch is that hopefully MSU realizes that this isn’t going to be just used for sports. In fact, it’s a great way to admit guilt without actually saying anything incriminating (which is a plus since installing the keyboard allows the app to read all your messages).
“Hey did you black out last night?” That’s a clanga.
