Watch Alex Rodriguez hit a single in his first at bat in 18 months. It’s just like every other single he’s hit in Spring Training, only this time a lot more people are going to talk about it.
A-Rod will be the full-time DH (designated hitter for all you Canadians out there), the same position he started at in the Yankees’ second Spring Training game. In his first at bat, A-Rod got down two strikes early and then hit a line drive into left field.
