Tree Trimmer Goes To Hospital With Chain Saw Blade In Neck
James Valentine, a 21-year-old tree trimmer from Pittsburgh, was rushed to Allegheny General Hospital Monday afternoon after being struck in the neck with a chainsaw. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, Valentine’s co-worker helped him down from a tree and decided to leave the blade in his neck to try to limit the bleeding. Doctors say the saw missed major arteries and instead, cut into muscle. Valentine had emergency surgery and is currently recovering.
