According to Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, the self-tying (amazingly awesome) power laces from Back To The Future II are actually going to be a reality in 2015. In 2011, Nike did produce about 1,500 Nike Air Mags that were auctioned off on eBay with proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
