Lil Peep’s second posthumous album “Everybody’s Everything” is here. On Friday, November 15, the highly-anticipated project described as a “lovingly-curated collection of songs from Lil Peep’s career” officially dropped on all streaming services.
The album comes almost exactly two years after his death from an accidental overdose.
“Everybody’s Everything” is a reference to the caption from an Instagram post on Lil Peep’s account prior to his death.
“I just wanna be everybody’s everything I want too much from people but then I don’t want anything from them at the same time u feel me I don’t let people help me but I need help but not when I have my pills but that’s temporary one day maybe I won’t die young and I’ll be happy? What is happy I always have happiness for like 10 seconds and then it’s gone,” Lil Peep wrote at the time. “I’m getting so tired of this.”
Lil Peep’s star burned out before it really got started. The 21-year-old rapper passed away while on tour for his debut album Come Over When You’re Sober. On the night of Wednesday, November 16, 2017, Peep was found unresponsive in his tour bus and later died as a result of a suspected Xanax overdose.
