Taylor Swift is back with a new song titled “Beautiful Ghosts” which is an original song from the motion picture Cats. The new track officially dropped on Friday, November 15 ahead of the release of next month’s film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical.
Swift co-wrote the track with Webber.
“There was an ambition and an aspiration to have an original song in the movie,” Swift said about her collaboration with Webber, via Rolling Stone. “Just very much this understanding of like, ‘Let’s write the best song we can.’”
Cats — which also stars Jason Derulo, James Corden, Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Ian McKellen, and others — hits theaters on Friday, December 20.
