Netflix is at it again, delivering a must-see addition to its library. This time, it comes in the form of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, which was added to the streaming service on Friday, December 28 and gives viewers an innovative way to watch the standalone film.
While watching, viewers have opportunities to “choose your own adventure” throughout the entire experience as you guide the main character, Stefan, down his path.
There are reportedly five different endings depending on the choices you make along the way.
The film, which is not a part of the upcoming season 5, is directed by David Slade, who previously directed the Black Mirror episode “Metalhead.” Netflix initially held back on many details about the upcoming Black Mirror: Bandersnatch project, but a released image confirmed three cast members who were involved prior to its release: Will Poulter, Fionn Whitehead, and Asim Chaudhry.
Immediately after it was added to Netflix, the memes began flying and it was clear that we were about to witness the latest online sensation.
First, here’s a brief synopsis of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch from Netflix:
In 1984, a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a dark fantasy novel into a video game. A mind-bending tale with multiple endings.
