Video from Philadelphia shows the moment a mentally challenged man was sucker punched in the face as he walked down a street in the Germantown area of the city.
In the 30-second clip, a man is seen smiling before being distracted by a teenage boy who punches him in the face for no reason.
The victim, Gerald Andrews Sr, appeared shocked by the attack and was knocked backward by the strike.

Gerald Andrews Sr., 48, said the victim was a co-worker at a ShopRite in Cheltenham and identified him by his first name, Mark. “He keeps that smile on his face. He wants to talk sports. He’s a good guy,” Andrews said Monday night about Mark.
Andrews said he learned about the video from another co-worker and posted a copy Monday afternoon on Facebook. “It’s heartbreaking,” he said of the attack.
As of 9 p.m. the video had been viewed more than 100,000 times and had been shared nearly 3,900 times. Andrews said he did not know where the video was originally posted.
According to police spokesman Sgt. Eric Gripp, the Northwest Detectives Division is investigating the assault. Gripp asked anyone with information in the suspects to contact police.
“Obviously, what is depicted in the video is very disturbing,” Gripp said. “We would implore anyone who has info on the video, or who knows the identity of the victim to reach out to police.”
On Tuesday, after the video went viral, police arrested four of the individuals seen punching the Andrews.
“There’s no rhyme or reason. It appears, One could think it’s for kicks and giggles by sick minded people in this case juveniles,” said police
The suspects were charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and reckless endangerment.
