Kurt Angle Announced As RAW General Manager, Crowd Goes Berserk

After over a decade away from the company that made him a star, Kurt Angle is finally back home.
The Olympic gold medalist and six-time WWE champion, who was recently inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, spent most of the last 10 years wrestling in the TNA. But on Monday night, the first RAW after Wrestlemania, Chairman Vince McMahon decided it was time for a change.
With general manager Stephanie McMahon out of commission, it was time to appoint a new general manager for the WWE’s flagship program, and McMahon chose none other than Angle.
The crowd predictably went nuts, and as is tradition, showered him with cheers (yes, cheers) of “You suck!”

It’s good to see Angle, who has a long history of personal issues, back in front of a crowd that absolutely adores him.
