Jonathan Majors’ career trajectory has been steep – just not in the direction anyone expected a few years ago. The actor, who once headlined HBO’s Lovecraft Country and played a major villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saw his Hollywood standing collapse after being convicted of domestic abuse.
Now he’s working for Ben Shapiro and The Daily Wire. And that’s not going well either.
Majors is currently filming an untitled movie produced by Shapiro and Dallas Sonnier for The Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend. Production hit a snag this week when Majors fell through a window on set and dropped roughly six feet to the ground below.
The incident was captured on video obtained by Deadline.
Multiple sources confirm to Deadline that the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass to be purposefully shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors.

Deadline obtained video of the incident. According to multiple sources, the accident happened because of an unsecured sheet of tempered glass that had been placed in the window frame.
The glass wasn’t meant for this scene at all. Crew members had replaced the window with tempered glass for a different stunt planned for later – one that wouldn’t involve actors. But the glass was just sitting loosely in the frame.
When Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne leaned against it during filming, both went tumbling through.
Kilcoyne got the worst of it, requiring stitches “all over his hands” after the fall. The extent of Majors’ injuries hasn’t been disclosed.
Deadline reached out to the producers about the incident and allegations of unsafe working conditions on set. The response they got? The producers “don’t negotiate with communists.”
One crew member, speaking anonymously to Deadline, said the whole situation felt off from the start.
When I got there, nobody mentioned anything about people falling out the window…It seemed weird to me.
Despite the accident, there’s no indication production has been halted or that plans for the film have changed. It’s just another chapter in what’s become a remarkable downfall – from working with Marvel Studios and major Hollywood producers to making movies for conservative media outlets under conditions that are, at best, questionable.
The contrast couldn’t be starker. A few years ago, Majors was being positioned as one of the MCU’s next major villains. Now he’s falling through unsecured windows on Daily Wire sets.
