Sydney Sweeney’s character Cassie Howard will reportedly launch an OnlyFans account in the upcoming final season of HBO’s hit series “Euphoria,” returning to the explicit territory that made her character memorable in the show’s first season.
HBO’s acclaimed drama hasn’t aired new episodes since 2022 but is set to return next year for its third and final season. Much of the original cast — who’ve become major Hollywood players since the series premiered in 2019 — are confirmed to return.
Sweeney’s star has risen dramatically during the show’s hiatus. In Euphoria’s first season, her character Cassie created one of the series’ most controversial moments with a sequence featuring intimate photos that sparked significant viewer reaction.
Season 3 appears to be revisiting similar themes. Given both the show’s history of graphic content and Sweeney’s previous willingness to film challenging scenes, viewers can likely expect the OnlyFans storyline to push boundaries.

Despite her increased fame since Euphoria’s second season aired, Sweeney’s career trajectory hasn’t quite matched expectations.
While 2023’s romantic comedy “Anyone But You” remains her biggest commercial success, Sweeney has stayed busy with diverse projects. Since 2022, she’s appeared in the drama “Reality,” western “Americana,” superhero film “Madame Web,” horror thriller “Immaculate,” sci-fi feature “Eden,” family drama “Echo Valley,” and the recently released “Christy” — which has performed disastrously at the box office.
Box office relief may be coming soon, however. Sweeney stars in the thriller adaptation “The Housemaid,” arriving in theaters on Christmas Day. She’s also reportedly filmed a cameo appearance in next year’s highly anticipated sequel “The Devil Wears Prada 2.”
The final season of Euphoria will likely provide Sweeney another opportunity to showcase her acting range — though it’s unclear how the explicit OnlyFans storyline might impact her evolving public image as she continues to navigate Hollywood’s challenging landscape.
